They say high school friends are for keeps. Arpita and I went to school together and though we still remain friends, we had lost touch for a very long time. Thanks to Facebook, we rediscovered each other, met in Houston and she spoke about her upcoming wedding. It was a great opportunity for us to kick off our wedding photography business in the US with this Texas Wedding and we promptly offered our services to Arpita. Dog lovers, Arpita and Vijay, met in a restaurant and instantly took a liking for each other.

 

This was one of the most fun filled, extremely well organized weddings we have shot. There were high school friends from all over the country. What started off as a wedding photography gig, turned out to be more of a high school reunion of sorts coupled with tons of candid photography moments. There was no dearth of fun, food and alcohol and 2 sleepless nights singing and talking about good old times.

 

At the end of it all, we of course, captured some amazing pictures for the couple.

 

This Texas Wedding was also a wedding where we shot tons of pictures in monochrome, thanks to the brilliant Leica Monochrom, which shoots only black and white.
