A Houston Wedding is always like home turf for us.

Paul first reached out to us in 2017, a few days before he was planning to propose. He wanted a surprise shoot at Houston’s Waterwall, as he went down on his knees. That shoot was a hit and in 2019, as soon as the dates were fixed we got a call again from Paul to cover his wedding.

A short ceremony but loads of fun including a few friends throwing Paul into the pool, some great dances and lots of kids. We covered all the events on the day leading up to the main ceremony and the reception thereafter. Melissa is an absolute sport and delight to shoot. Both of them love being photographed and were glad to abide by our diktats :).

This was the first wedding where my partner and I both used the Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format camera for most shots. Of course I had my ever trusted Leica SL with my Leica Noctilux for those magical, dreamy shots. The Profoto B10s are my go to lights for times when I want to get creative or need to light up the scene.

We love when clients talk about our work and in Paul’s own words: “Great job! Very fast turn around on photos and better quality then I could have imagined”.
